a) Car Park, Addison Road – Quote for removal of tree stump and erection of fence.

b) Allotments – The Council to consider quotes to lay a water supply from the existing tap in the cemetery and preparation of the land for allotments.

c) CAB – Outreach worker – trial period January 2009 – March 2009,

7              Highway Matters/Street Lighting/Transport

a) Street Lights – still awaiting MHB services to undertake repairs, difficulties in obtaining replacement parts reported.

b) Footpaths – complaint from Mr & Mrs Johnson litter abuse, kicking fence panels. The police have been informed.

c) Highway matters – Blue lane and Hook Road

Street naming Land west of 7-9 Norfolk Street – Webb Gardens

Manea Road - safety works may be possible through a JFMHI

 

 

 

8                Recreation Grounds

a) Doddington Road. – The Clerk met with a local builder to discuss repairs.

The children’s playing field equipment area had reports of glass present. Cllr Moore inspected.

b) Parkfield – The site in general is clear of rubbish and in good order. The play equipment shows no sign of defects.

c) Eaton Estate – The site was in good order and no signs of defect were evident to the play equipment.

d) E Gowler to report upon Parkfield

 

9              New Cemetery/Churchyard

a) New Cemetery – The ground conditions are reported as being very wet and three recent burials have not helped. Surplus soil needs to be removed.

b) Wimblington St Peters Churchyard – The Churchyard appears to be in a reasonable order and no problems have been reported by the PCC.

Tree stump removal would cost £500 and replacement fence quote not yet received.
